im forever in awe of people that tell complete stories with their music - exposition, build up, climax, resolution i feel my music is just a singular moment frozen in time repeated over and over and over i also understand arrangement is a skill - incorporating different sections and making songs vs. just loops is it a matter of lacking the skill, or is it a natural preference to capture the feeling one moment at a time? sometimes its hard not to compare and perceive this lack in my music
oh man, I think every musician have to step thrue that door... I was struggeling a long time with that challenging thing... There are a few tricks to step out of your loops and get further in shorter time... Maybe I can show you guys a few tricks if you like...
I'd say it's not a lack, it's a strength being able to capture one moment like that is a bliss I wish I could do it
