How to deal with ppl stealing melody’s

HDreamerMuzik(CS) keeps stealing my melodies, despite multiple requests to stop. While I could turn off remix, it's inconvenient for all my songs. Can someone intervene and ask him to stop? It's been months and it's frustrating.

  • I mean, you enable remix so ppl can get at your work. That's kinda the point. Part of why I don't enable remix on most of my tracks is because of that reason. I would suggest thinking abt which tracks have melodies that you want to keep yours, and not enabling remix on those.

  • I don't know if this is entirely possible but perhaps you can contact Audiotool VIA their email, I'm not a 100% so take it with a grain of salt. However, if I'm fully clear, considering you're enabling remixes, then you're doing it via CC-BY-SA or the other one, aka Creative Commons. If i'm completely honest, I don't think there is anything you can do legally to stop that unless you make your music All Rights Reserved. I might be wrong so if there's anyone that knows more, please do correct me I don't want to mislead. However, I think that's the case. So, to prevent theft, I would suggest disabling remixes, even if they seem incovenient. You have to weigh out the pros and cons of remixing and the consequences of both choices. I hope this helps!

    • i know, and again i'm sorry for not giving the answer you wanted. however do know that if a person still intends on stealing your melody, then no one is going to change that. i also thought it'd be good to inform you of these otherwise.

    • brah all I'm asking is if someone can just tell him to stop for me cuz he muted me.

  • no need, he said he is quitting audiotool because he "has no talent"-according to him.

I believe the situation has resolved itself.
